Is a deposit required?
Yes, a deposit is required for all services. If you did book a service that has a "starting fee" - not a "fixed fee", after receiving your price quote, you will be sent an invoice for your deposit.
Is there a late fee?
There is a $10 late fee if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment. We do ask that you contact us if you are going to be late for your appointment. Please understand that there are appointments booked after yours.
Where are you located?
We are located in Brampton, Ontario, in the Springdale area. Upon booking, you will receive an e-mail including our exact location.
Which methods of payment do you accept?
Deposits are only accepted via Visa/Mastercard/Visa Debit. The remainder of your payment will be taken at your appointment. You will then have the option of paying cash, Mastercard or Visa. However, cashless options are preferred.
Am I able to bring a friend along with me to my appointment?
At the moment, we are a home based-business. Therefore, we do ask that you do not bring any guests along with you to your appointment. If the appointment is for a person under the age of majority, a family member can accompany them.

How long do lash extensions last?
Can I get my lash extensions wet?
In the first 24 hours, it's essential to avoid getting your lashes wet as the adhesive is still curing. After that time, you can get them wet. However, it is important to completely, dry them, and brush them thoroughly.
How do I prepare for my lash appointment?
It's advised to wash your hair prior to your appointment as you can't get your lashes wel for at least 24 hours. It's important to arrive with no make-up and/or permed or curled eyelashes. If you wear contacts, please do no wear them to your appountment. During hte lashing process, you are more than welcome to relax, listen to music, and/or take a nap.
How do I clean my lash extensions?
Oil free cleansers are necessary for cleaning your lashes. Oil will break down the adhesive causing your extensions to fall off. While cleaning your lashes, focus on cleansing the lash line using the flock applicators to remove any build-up from make-up or eye secreations. Finish by pat drying and brushing your lashes.
Will the lash extensions damage my natural lashes?
Lash extensions do NOT damage your natural lashes if applied properly. Here at Selah Vie, we are more concerned about your lash health than anything. If we feel that the length and fullness you're going for can damage your lashes, we'll always ensure your lash health is our priority.
Do you do foreign fills?
Unfortunately, we do not work on other Lash Technician's work. However, we'd be more than happy to remove the set and apply a fresh full set.
How do I prepare for my hair appointment?
Please come with your hair washed, and blown out straight and free of product. A $30 prep fee will be applied if hair is not prepped prior to your appointment time.
Is the hair provided for styles requiring extensions?
No, unfortunately the hair is not provided for your appointment.
What kind of hair do I purchase?
For single braids, or feed-in hairstyles, please only purchase Pre-stretched Kanakalon braiding hair. Some good brands include: BraidBabe, Outre, or Lock N' Hold. As for other hairstyles, We will connect with you.
How long does my natural hair have to be?
Your hair must be at least 3 inches all around for all hair services. If you have any hair conditions or breakage, please notify us prior to booking your appointment.
What if the hairstyle I want isn't listed?
We are always looking forward to trying new hairstyles. We'll be sure to make sure you leave a happy client. But please do not hesitate to contact us using the chat bubble in the bottom right corner, or via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
How to care for my hairstyle after my appointment?
Ensure you are tying down your hair every night using a silk head tie or durag.This will help preserve your hairstyle. You can moisturize your scalp weekly to aid in itchiness. We do have hair products available for purchase that will help with itchiness found on selahvie.net/shop. Plus it'll make your hair GROW. #selahgrowth
Do you offer services to those outside of Canada?
Absolutely! We would love to work with you! We'll be sure to coordinate a time to consult - taking into consideration both time zones
Are Domain Names included in your fee?
No, the domain name is not included in our fees listed. However, we'd be more than happy to guide you through the process in purchasing it.
Do I have to purchase a premium plan through Wix?
Not necessarily, although it is beneficial. If you are looking to accept payments online, a premium plan is necessary. After we've created your website, it is up to you to purchase a plan that's best suited for you.

Absolutely! Due to the fact that managing your website for you, our tutorial will focus on e-mail marketing, social posts, and automations
