  • Is there a late fee?
    A late fee of $15 will be applied if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment. If you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled to avoid interruptions in following appointments. We do ask that you contact us if you are going to be late for your appointment. Please understand that there are appointments booked after yours.
  • Where are you located?
    We have two locations. Our Vaughan location is 151 Applewood Crescent, Vaughan, ON. Our Brampton location is at Williams Parkway and Vodden. The exact address will be e-mailed upon booking.
  • Which methods of payment do you accept?
    Deposits are only accepted via Visa/Mastercard/Visa Debit. The remainder of your payment will be taken at your appointment. You will then have the option of paying Cash, Mastercard, Visa, or Debit.
  • How can you be reached?

  • Are mobile services available?
    Mobile services are available only for teeth whitening and IV Vitamin Drip. However, there is a $40 travel fee. Mobile services are only available within the GTA.
  • How can I prepare for my appointment?
    Come with freshly brushed/flossed teeth.
  • What should I do after my appointment?
    A remineralizing gel is applied to your teeth at the end of your session. This will re-seal the pores on your teeth that were opened during your treatment, decreasing teeth sensitivity. -You can eat after your session. However, avoid any teeth staining agents at least 2 hours post-treatment. These agents include: tea, coffee, red wine, turmeric, etc. -It's recommending to rinse your mouth after meals for about 24hrs post-treatment.
  • How often can I get my teeth whitened?
    To maintain the overall l health of your teeth, we recommend every 3-6 months in between treatments.
  • How white will my teeth get?
    Results vary from client-to-client. However, you can expect anywhere from 2-15 shades lighter. Please note: your teeth will continue to whiten 24-hours post appointment. Then you will see ultimate results.
  • Can I get my teeth whitening while pregnant?
    No, it is not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing.
  • Why IV Therapy?
    The amount of nutrients in the blood can reach much higher, more therapeutic levels, which cannot be obtained orally or through muscle.
  • What kind of IV Cocktails do you offer?
    Immunity Boosters: Packed with Vitamin C to give your immune system a boost to fight those cold and flu-like symptoms. Myer's Cocktail: Packed with minerals and vitamins, this cocktail addresses a wide range of symptoms including: migraines, muscles aches, fatigue, low immunity, while also boosting your metabolism, and boosting your energy levels. Hangover Cocktail: This cocktail will cure the headache, nausea and vomiting, boost your energy, and give you some gentle hydration to get you back on your feet in no time. Hydration: When you can't orally hydrate yourself, this is used for overall fluid replacement.
  • Why IV and not oral medications?
    IV Therapy has a much higher absorption rate versus oral. Oral medications can only absorb about 30%, whereas IV can absorb up to 90%.
  • How often do I have to get an IV Drip?
    It varies client to client. We recommend coming in with your most recent bloodwork to determine where you are vitamin deficient, and thereby recommend the frequency of your IV treatments. On average, we recommend every 2-3 months to for average health adult.
  • What is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)?
    PRP is a form of regenerative medicine that can help your body amplify the natural growth factors used by the body to heal tissue.
  • What is the Process?
    Step 1: Your blood is drawn. Step 2: Blood sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma which is rich is platelets. Step 3: The Plasma is re-injected into the skin and/or hair.
  • What are the advantages of PRP?
    - Uses the body's resources to promote hair growth and rejuvenate the skin. - Little to no downtime if proper post-treatment care is taken. - Because the procedure involves a patient's own tissues, PRP injections are safe, and adverse reactions are limited.
  • What is PRP used for?
    PRP can be used for skin care and hair growth. Skin Care: If you're struggling with acne or acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, aging or fine lines - PRP will help rejuvenate your skin, evening the texture and giving you a radiant glow. Hair Growth: If you're suffering from hair loss, patchy beards, receding hairline, or alopecia - PRP will growth factors to facilitate hair growth.
  • How long do lash extensions last?
    If lash extensions are properly maintained, and cleansed as instructed by your lash technician, lash extensions can last up to 3-4 weeks. Typically around the 2-week mark, we recommend coming back for a refill to maintain fullness.
  • Can I get my lash extensions wet?
    In the first 24 hours, it's essential to avoid getting your lashes wet as the adhesive is still curing. After that time, you can get them wet. However, it is important to completely, dry them, and brush them thoroughly.
  • How do I prepare for my lash appointment?
    It's advised to wash your hair prior to your appointment as you can't get your lashes wel for at least 24 hours. It's important to arrive with no make-up and/or permed or curled eyelashes. If you wear contacts, please do no wear them to your appountment. During hte lashing process, you are more than welcome to relax, listen to music, and/or take a nap.
  • How do I clean my lash extensions?
    Oil free cleansers are necessary for cleaning your lashes. Oil will break down the adhesive causing your extensions to fall off. While cleaning your lashes, focus on cleansing the lash line using the flock applicators to remove any build-up from make-up or eye secreations. Finish by pat drying and brushing your lashes.
  • Will the lash extensions damage my natural lashes?
    Lash extensions do NOT damage your natural lashes if applied properly. Here at Selah Vie, we are more concerned about your lash health than anything. If we feel that the length and fullness you're going for can damage your lashes, we'll always ensure your lash health is our priority.
  • Do you do foreign fills?
    Unfortunately, we do not work on other Lash Technician's work. However, we'd be more than happy to remove the set and apply a fresh full set.
